Becka represents P3RE as the Leasing Manager for all of our Bay Area life science projects, located in the epicenter of the life science cluster. Her 8 years of experience within the real estate industry has equipped her with exceptional knowledge of negotiation, marketing implementation and management skills for these Class A assets.
The dexterity of her negotiation skills sustains the sophistication of GENESIS while providing tenants with Class A service. Her robust background in marketing allows for strong implementation in optimizing, maintaining, and monitoring the marketing efforts with the re-purposed vision of Genesis to the Life Science community. In addition, Becka facilitates management across the project while being the main liaison to ensure productivity, leasing operations, implementing policies and standards.
Becka completed her Bachelors of Arts in Communications at California State University of San Marcos. She also holds her California Real Estate License.
BJ Van Aken
Direct of Leasing and Asset Management
BJ has over 12 years of experience in leasing, asset management and acquisitions across multiple asset types including class “A” life science, office, industrial, retail and medical office throughout California. As Director of Leasing and Asset Management, BJ is responsible for the oversight of leasing and management operations of Phase 3 Real Estate Partner’s portfolio. Prior to joining P3RE, as a Senior Real Estate Manager, he lead a management team at CBRE, Inc for 3 years. Prior to CBRE, BJ starting his commercial real estate career at San Diego based Capital Growth Properties, Inc.
BJ graduation from Gordon College with Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration. He holds his California Real Estate Salesperson License as well as his Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). He is pursuing his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation through the CCIM Institute.
